The politico-economic problems of the general public cannot be eliminated only by changing the politicians and party. The change in polity and politics of the country and world is the need of the hour. These remarks were made by the contemporary political philosopher Bharat Gandhi while addressing the media persons in Guwahati Press Club. He added that today the need for a new political party emerged not only to replace the ruling party but to replace the present politico-economic order.
He informed the media persons that the new political party namely Voters Party International(VPI) has come before the public of Assam with a blueprint of new politico-economic order. He observed that a state like Assam which is very far from the mainstream of development of the country and world needs a political alternate
who could be able to use a new modus operandi to solve the long-lasting problems of the general public of Assam. Focusing on the economic problems of Assam he stated that the financial crisis is the main problem of inhabitants of Assam which only could be solved by making a law to distribute the money produced by the labor of machines, by natural resources, and by the existence of various laws. The founder of Voters Party International said that this very bill is to distribute the rent of collective properties of the country and the word is called ‘Votership Bill’.
Explaining the calculations of rent of the collective property Shri Gandhi stated that if the proposal of Votership right gets translated into law, then a minimum of 6000 rupees could be given to each and every voter of Assam. He added that this amount may be increased to more than 10000 if the government of Homeland of the South Asia region including the countries like India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Burma, and Maldives will be formed by a competent International treaty on the lines of Europian union. Referring to the unification of European countries, the author of more than two dozen books written on reforms of the political system, Sh. Gandhi said that Europe throw away the traditional concept of nationalism, sovereignty and citizenship, etc. looking at its side effects and reactions. The modern definitions of all these fundamentals of political science were invented by the
European thinkers themselves. Sh. Gandhi added that after experiencing the undesired need of maintaining economic slavery in the country just for the need for cheap export. The countries of Europe formed a collective governing and defense system.
He added that what was thrown away by the European countries in the dustbin, is still the remaining fashion to pick up the expired concept of nationalism, sovereignty, and citizenship from the dustbin and engulf the same treating the garbage as medicine in our Homeland countries. Sh. Gandhi said that due to this thinking of the wrong direction, the scope of bloodshed in the territory of Assam is rising once again. He said that the intellectuals of Assam must stop this development from going in a violent direction. Sh. Gandhi said that VPI has accepted the challenge to stop the violence spread prosperity and maintain peace in the state, which is why all the sections of the society of Assam must support this Party. The Policy Director of VPI informed that this party celebrates every year its Foundation Day on 17th November on the United Nations World Philosophy Day. He informed me that this year a massive demonstration is scheduled on the eve of foundation day. This demonstration will take place at the district playground situated at Rangia town of Kamrup district of Assam, where more than 1 lac VPI workers are expected to participate. On this day, the protesters will demand to form the Government of Homeland of the South Asian Region. So that the obstacles laying against the bill of Votership could be wiped out and the amount of Votership could be increased. He informed me that on this occasion a memorandum will be handed over to the government of India and the same will be sent to the head of nation-states of South Asian countries through their high commissioners appointed in India. Shri B A Paswan, the president of the All India committee of Voters Party International, and Sri Lalit Pegu, the president of Assam state of the party were also present at the occasion.
